Minimalist landscapes

Simply put, minimalist photography is about reducing a photographic subject down to its bare, essential and clean components. It is about consciously eliminating the clutter in a scene and using basic photographic principles such as using color, lines, placement and most definitely, the use of negative space to bring attention on the subject.

It is possible to distill the above bunch of words into a simple mantra: less is more. That is the idea behind the photographs in this gallery.
